Documentary on Nerd Tv
I was contacted by Oliver Good, Development Producer at Nerd TV if somebody would be interested in doing a documentary. This is what he send me and if anybody is interested just contact him. ---------------------------- Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you all well. I work for a TV production company called NERD (http://www.nerdtv.co.uk). We make documentaries and factual series for networks around the world. You'll see from the above URL that NERD is a UK company, but I'm a NYC-based producer and the series I am posting about here is for a US cable network. Each episode of this documentary series focuses on a different young person who is either living an unusual life, or facing a big decision. The unique thing about the series is that all stories are self-shot by the subjects (using cameras and training provided by us), so we're hoping that the finished films will be more revealing and honest than anything else on TV. So far we have stories about disability, gender-identity, religion and family dynamics. I'm posting here today because we believe a cam girl story would fit extremely well into the series. I'm interested in people who are thinking of starting camming. People thinking of quitting. Even people who can't imagine doing anything else. If you are even a little interested in taking part - or if you know someone who might fit the bill - please send an email to [email protected]. Added quick link to activity screen and followers list
On the top right corner of the feed you now find a quick link to the activity screen to see all site activity and we made it easier to follow a bunch of members (they are ordered by the amount of followers they have)
change notification settings
We've added an extra option in the mail settings so you can change if you want to receive a message when somebody follows you (or not). You can find it in "my settings" under "Change Mail settings"

The chat is back. We've have managed to make it faster, but we wanted to do some updates to remove some bugs. The last part didn't work well, so until we have some answers on how to fix things, this chat will be operational.

Status Feed
Yeah, that's right: WeCamgirls is going Facebook 
On the homepage of WCG you see (when you're logged in) a status feed of your status updates and from the members you follow.
Follow?
Yeah, you need to follow someone to see their status updates in your feed. We're going Twitter style as well 
(to follow somebody just go to their profile and click "follow" )
But is being friends not enough?
Some people have over 3000 friends on WCG so that will kill our server if all friends will automatically show up in your feed.
What is in the feed?
Besides the statusupdates of the people you follow you will find the latest articles and newspost in the feed. To change this you can go to the settings tab or remove them from your feed directly.
Awesome! What's next?
We're working on some improvements of the Status Feed System:
- Wall Posts in the feed (instead of only Status Updates).
- The option to add topics you find interesting to your feed.
- See who's following who
- See suggestions for who to follow
My feed is overly crowded!
You can filter out the news posts and articles in your Settings.
