Camming software isn't so hot, but they're more than a camsite, so I can't blame them for not putting too much focus on that. There are plenty of great guys on there, and they really, really just want you to be real. It's refeshing!

Traffic- I would say this is a site for supplemental income at the moment, but it seems to be picking up now that they are offering the RealTouch device for less money. It's possible to go a while between dates, and it isn't steady reliable income yet, but I feel like that could change. I'd give a 3.5 if I could. I do feel that the site owners are working to improve this. And of course advertising yourself on social media helps too.

Payment- Never had a problem getting paid on time, for the full amount each time. The site gives you 50% commission on your shows but you can set the price yourself for as high or as low as you want, and for providing the joystick and operating platform/software for free... that's a fair deal.

Support- Attentive and friendly. Can take a while to set up test dates but that was my fault, not theirs. Really helpful and went out of their way to make sure I understood everything. Have yet to contact them with a problem but based on past interactions I feel that they would be helpful and quick.

Software- I have only had tech issues with one person and it seemed likely that their computer was the cause. Setting up a date the first time was a little intimidating but everything went fine, and since then it's been a no-brainer. It's still in Beta and there's a few things to work out but so far, so good.

Overall- Great site, I would give it a shot if you're ok with the idea of actually manipulating a joystick that directly influences how someone's penis feels, haha. I heard signups are taking longer because of increased interest but if you keep checking in and are pro-active, you'll get there. Oh, and they can't send the joystick to PO boxes, but no biggie. I think it's entirely worth it and really enjoy using it.

There's way too much going on on this site, too complicated, takes forever to set up the entire profile and just millions of windows opening up all over. Tried this way too time consuming and confusing.

It is not so hard to work on this site, its quite easy. I love the traffic and i make great money on it... Of course it has beggars as almost every site, but i like this site very much. Is one of the best sites i work on. And they always payed me on time.

I work on cc (camcontacts.com) for about an year. I like this site very much because the members are very kind and u dont have beggars in your room. Beside that if u talk in community chat you will get more traffic. And they have a strip game too which is fun.

Worked on this site in 2010. I think they had just included tipping shows in their setup. Generally, this site was not my bag & I wouldn't recommend it.

I started on MFC as my very first site in 2008 & stayed there until early this year when I finally had enough of the shenanigans. It's great for other chickies though It's just hit or miss with how you want to cam/run your room

- Lots of traffic, but a good percentage of it's freeloaders/trolls/time wasters
- Very hit or miss, one day you can have a great amount of tokens flowing in, the next you will have a week long dry spell & feel like you're constantly having to scrape & beg.
- The camscore nonsense is just that: nonsense. To save your camscore (which is basically you're ranking on the site's main page) you must make x tokens per hour, if you don't you have to log off or risk your score plumenting. It's updated every 60 days (or so people have figured out) & in my opinion the main factor of new girls giving up & throwing in the towel early in the cam career.
- Support is not very helpful at all. Usually canned answer, if you get any response at all.
- Site/software is a bit hinky & crashes often.
-- To go with that you have no idea most of the time when the site will go down/the software will go out
- There's potential to make a lot of money, but it's tricky. Not just how you do it in general, but day to day.
- They always pay as long as you make your minimum.
-- To go along with that, they have several different payment processors.
--- They pay on the 1st & the 16th.
- HD camming is availible I believe.
- People are generally nice & polite and the new model tag DOES help bring in people when you first start.


In general MyFreeCams has changed drastically since I started. Still a pretty good site, but not one I would readily recommend.

I've been working on Streamate for about 3 years on and off, but finally gave it a "real" try with some effort the last few months. It's a big change from sites that revolve around being social (MFC, Chaturbate & the now Streamate white label Xpeeps), but the social element is still there which helps me stay sane, lol!

On another site, I'd worry about my chatting getting in the way of people staying on topic, but instead it kind of encourages people to chip in or take me exclusive (Hey bb you like horror movie, I like horror movies, LETS BONE!). The fact that there is almost constant traffic helps a whole lot as well. As there should be, they advertise like crazy.

Premium shows: These are like group shows on MFC. The big trick is that the first 30 seconds are completely free to whoever is joining, even after the person who initated it has used his free 30 seconds, you might see a few people pop in and out over and over and over. This part sucks and is one of the reasons I do Gold Shows over premium chat. The other one is: YOU CAN'T TURN THEM DOWN. Imagine it, you're sitting in public chat, playing with your boobies and/or chatting up a storm and all of a sudden you're in premium with some demanding little prick who wants you to get nude, doggie style DP and do a head stand all within his 30 second preview window. I think not! How to avoid premium chat if you don't like the style or have had bad luck like I have is to jack up your prices as high as possible (mine is @ 9.99). To raise your prices, contact Streamate support.

Exclusive chat: These are the chats I enjoy. It's one on one and much more relaxing/enjoyable than premium. Not a whole lot to say except they are like privates on other sites.

Gold Show: I lovveee Gold Shows. Sometimes they're a pain in the butt, but more often than not it's that easy money that articles & tv shows are always talking about sex workers making, LOL! Here's a tutorial that Streamate made that explains it better than I can. http://streamatemodels.com/goldshow-tutorial.php I believe you get them automatically when you reach a 5 star rating, but you can ask Vanessa on Twitter to review your connection & give it to you earlier. Hint: ASK NICELY! You can also offer videos/picture sets as incentive for people to join the show if it's a bit slower than usual or you need to make your goal soon. I realize SM is "against" this, but I think it's more of a gray area than anything. Just make sure you send the link via the SM mail & don't ask for outside information while doing it (email, IM, etc).

TV Shows: I have not done any of these because they are a bit restrictive. Basically it's a Gold Show that also streams to people's tv's in hotels & such. I love the idea, but I like being able to use "big toys" & have music if I'm doing a strip tease. Here's more information about TV shows.

We realize there are a lot of questions about how the new TV feature works. In order to clear up any confusion, we are addressing many of the most common questions we�ve had:

Q: If I opt in, am I automatically on TV?
A: No. If you opt in you are saying you are willing to be on TV. This will put you in a group of available shows. If you are selected a window will appear asking you to broadcast your show. If you agree, the gold show will be configured and the countdown will begin. You must complete the show if you agree.

Q: If I do a show, how will I make money?
A: Your gold show goal will be set up automatically. When you agree, your show will begin no matter what. You will earn for ANY and ALL users who join your show either in preshow or performance.

Q: What if my goal is not met?
A: If you do not meet your goal by performance end, the show will still broadcast and 15 minutes AFTER your show ends, you will see an adjustment in your stats for the difference between what was earned and your goal. So if you earned $150 and the show goal was $200, you will see an adjustment for the difference after the show ends. Please remain patient!

Q: Can people chat with me?
A: Yes! People watching you on TV can chat with you through their tablets and their mobile devices. They will not look any different to you, but yes they can interact!

Q: What do I need to do?
A: To participate in TV, you will need to be using the encoder with the correct settings (see HD encoder settings). You must be in PARTY CHAT mode and you will need to ENABLE FREE CHAT. So you need to have Free Chat turned on!

Q: Who are the producers?
A: Producers are the people who are making sure your show is successful. You do not need to communicate/thank or acknowledge the producers; in fact, we ask you DO NOT mention them in chat. You are the only one who will see �producer� in chat � all other users will see them as �anonymous�.

Q: Can I opt out at any time?
A: Yes, if you want to opt in one day and not the next that is your decision.

Q: Why can�t I play music, wear logos or brand names?
A: It is illegal to rebroadcast copyrighted or trademarked materials on TV without paying royalties. Your shows will be removed if this happens.

Q: I am worried about being seen, is this geo-restricted?
A: No, this is TV, which cannot be geo-restricted. Anyone with a TV can see you.

Q: Is this recorded?
A: Due to 2257 requirements, Streamate records all content on Streamate. This has always been the case. However, the TV broadcast is 100% LIVE 24/7. We will NOT rebroadcast recorded shows on TV. This is all LIVE.

Q: Why should I NOT opt in?
A: If you DO NOT want to earn more from your show, then we do not recommend opting in. The most important issue to be concerned with is being seen. You will be on TV � so if this is a concern, you should consider all factors.


Below is the original message we sent you with instructions and information in case you did not save it!

Your performances can soon be seen on TV via adult pay-per-view! We will be launching our first TV channel and you will have the opportunity to be seen on screens larger than a desktop monitor...

Why would you want to be on TV? In addition to becoming a star in a new broadcasting medium, you will be guaranteed your GOLD Show goals for every show you do on TV! Need we say more?

We need YOUR HELP in making our channel a success. You need to opt-in for TV in order to receive requests from our producers. There are just a few simple rules you must understand and follow. Below is an outline of how to get started and the rules you need to follow. Be sure you read and understand ALL RULES before opting-in!! Failure to follow the rules will result in TV privileges being revoked permanently.

Note: Our first channel will be catered to male subscribers interested in female-centric shows. Males can opt-in for TV but they will not be receiving requests. Also, our first channel will be XXX which means oral, vaginal, and anal are all allowed!

The rules:

- Only female-centric shows will requested for the foreseeable future. You can opt-in if you have a male gender-based profile but you will not receive TV requests.

TV Broadcast shows are a little different than other performances.

- Producers will give you a guaranteed goal and you will ALWAYS meet it.

- There is NO geo-restriction for TV and you will be seen EVERYWHERE on TV regardless of geo-restrictions you have set! If you are concerned about privacy, TV is NOT for you.

- All TV Broadcast shows are GOLD Shows. There are additional rules regarding exact streaming settings needed in order to get a request.

Here are some of the additional rules for TV Broadcast. When opting-in, you will see the full list.

- You will be monitored and warned to correct any broadcasting violations. We may have to cancel your show and we can revoke your broadcasting privileges FOREVER!

- Depending on the TV network, you may be restricted as to what you can do in your performance.

- There is no copyrighted material allowed which means NO playing of music, TV, movies or use of copyrighted material/devices in a sexual manner.

- Absolutely no use of illegal substances is allowed.

- Requests will only come to you when you are not in a paid session. You may get a request in a GOLD Show preshow (which would cancel that show if accepted).

- Values presented for both money and duration are based on historical averages for your past successful GOLD Shows and cannot be negotiated.

- Requests are time-sensitive and actions are timed. Requests will self-cancel if not accepted. Once accepted, it's important that you follow all instructions from that point on. If not acted upon, the request will expire. Please note that repeated failure to meet these requests may result in you losing TV privileges.

Gold Club: It's like a member site you can actually advertise while you're on cam on SM.
-You get 35% of what you charge monthly
- You have to email support ([email protected]) or someone named Liz ([email protected]) to have it activated on your SM account
- The start out content you need is three written blogs, five videos & three picture sets with at all 50 photos combined
- They SHOULD go through & approve/reject your content once a day (I assume this is Mon - Fri, but I will find out tomorrow)
- You cannot have your videos watermarked
- When you email them to set it up you should have a monthly price (between $10 - $20 is what they recommend) & a show discount price (between 10% & 25%) if they are a member of your Gold Club.


Here's the email I received after I got approved & they set it up.

"Dear FrankieChemical:

Your Gold Club account has been created. Once you login, you will have a new tab to access your Gold Club model dashboard that allows you to add content.

In order for the club to be made live which allows members to join, you must meet minimum content requirements. At a minimum to launch your site, you will need to have approved content to include at least 5 diary entries, at least 3 photo albums (no less than 50 photos in total), and 5 video recordings.

Once your Gold Club is activated, there are also minimums to make sure that you keep the content of your Gold Club fresh for your members. Those minimums are 3 diary entries per week, 1 video recording per week and 1 photo album with at least 5 photos every 2 weeks. "

I figured I would include this because it's neat they have an option for ladies who don't have the time, patience or technical skills to create & secure their own members site/pay site.

Support: Main Streamate support isn't the greatest. They are quick with responding, but sometimes they can be frustrating if you don't word things correctly/clear enough. I would suggest following @streamate & @AWModel on Twitter, they can help out with simple things. For more indepth stuff, if you don't get the answer you want just keep trying, be persistant and eventually (for me at the latest 2-3 days) you'll get there!

Payment: They pay weekly (or you can go through Daily Pay) & you can be paid through wire, check, Payoneer & direct deposit.

That's about all I can say about my experience with SM. Generally, it's an awesome site that I enjoy working on.
