Edit: I can no longer suggest ManyVids as a sex-worker friendly clipstore. They took money from me to appease a member who was a timewaster and thought that his $15 tip meant that he had unlimiated ownership over my time.

For a 40% paycut, it's not worth it, especially not when they can take your money whenever they please.

I strongly suggest looking at safer alternatives. One large chargeback or refund could be the difference between paying or bills on time or being in the red financially.

Original: Years ago, ManyVids used to be my favorite platform. It and Chaturbate were where I started my career in the adult industry.

The negatives:

It seems times have changed. Their "discoverability" prioritizes top models. Small creators are drowning on the platform. The highest my rank got was top 750-ish monthly and top 3 daily; and I got *zero* extra traffic from that achievement.

They've lightened up on the contests, but there was a time when they had a new one every time the old one expired. For small creators, it's almost 100% necessary to join them to get any traffic, and they're exhausting to have to market for votes.

Their video upload tool is hit or miss, and wastes so much time. It will randomly stop my upload, and I'll have to manually start it again. For people uploading overnight, multitaskers, or those who are just distracted; this is a huge waste of time.

My final straw was, I uploaded very consistently. 2/3 times a week, always got sales, always got custom and ratings requests. Well, after so much consistency, good sales, and great traffic for 3 months straight; all of that suddenly dropped. The last 9 videos I uploaded over 3 weeks flopped. I can't waste my time on a site that's killing my traffic with their bad decisions.

I went from 400 - 1000 views daily to 10. I assume it's because of something they changed, but I'm not sticking around to find out.

The positives:

- They have every feature you could ever need to make money. (Good luck getting the traffic to use them, though!)

- Very active Twitter community.

- The average customer is very nice, respectful, and there to spend money.

- Very few freeloaders/timewasters in my DM's.

- I've never had issues with their support team. They always help me, even when I have silly questions.

- I'd go back to MV if they fixed their traffic and discoverability issues in a heartbeat.

- They've never missed a payment for me. (But, they did have an issue where they paid some models too much and made them pay them back months later. Also, the $2 transaction fee? Wtf?)

Traffic is as expected for a new clip site, but you can bring your own customers and get 80% BTC payouts to any wallet any time after $50 minimum is met. They use an open-source payment processor that is not adult-risk.

New processor is rumored to launch soon. Some bugs for a BETA site but support answers fast.

Faphouse is amazing they really have improved over the years.
They have so many ways to make money on this site. Free traffic, paid traffic, Sell videos, ppv, messages, plus your own fanclub.

Great payout.

It double backs on xhamster where can also get paid for video views, and you can cam on Strip chat or xhamster (Same Site) ps you can't cam on both. You can also create fan clubs on your cam sites. Strip chat has MY CLUB, but I have had zero success with My Club, everyone goes into the stricpchat fanclub instead. and you can advertise your Faphouse on your stripchat profile

They now create trailer for the videos you upload to your fanclub which drives traffic to your membership everytime up upload content

It does take time to get your uploads approved and there is no way to schedule posts but it is a great place to earn extra income.

I tried this for a few months tried selling clips and doing the Live phone Calls. I go zero calls even leaving my phone on all day and night for 3 months. and Zero video sales. Support was quick to delete my account when I requested. Don't waste your time on this one.

It has been 8months since the Live Support told me they re fixing the pending glitch on my new acc- a simple glitch on their end that along all my years in this business, I have encountered it on only another site and it was resolved in just one day.

I believe I contacted them 2-3 times to find out if they re still looking into, they always say they need more time and gonna be back in a while with an update. Well, it s been 8months...

I went through their ridiculously long registration process, took their specific pictures and then heard nothing for two weeks so I messaged.
Evidently if they decide that you don't meet their oh so specific requirements they don't even bother to email and let you know that you weren't approved or what their reason for that was.
They must think they're a Fortune 500 company and not some small porn site.
The response by support gives off strong Linda vibes despite them saying that she is no longer involved. Either that or they just go out of their way to hire rude and mean staff.

I love this site so much! Even without promoting the traffic is great. I find it easy to upload and manage my clips. Support are there 24/7 for you, and are always kind and helpful. Payouts are super fast each month. To me this is the best site out there for so many reasons

I do really like this site in terms of decent traffic and sales and really nice customers. But their payments are terrible! I set my payouts to twice a month. On the payout date they take your balance for processing. They then wait 3-4 working days after this day to actually process the payment, and then 6 working days after that you receive the payout. Payout is 10 working days from request which is crazy! Other clip sites I use pay out so much quicker

Won t rate traffic as it has no internal traffic. However it does make it easy for you to upload your content specifically for affiliates onto the site through their affiliation program.
It s a CMS platform that hosts your content and in the first year you get the .com domain name for free. You could also buy it separately for $6-20 (for .com) and integrate it to MC.
The content is not leaked by MC as ManyVids does, I checked.
Mc pays the fees associated with chargebacks and refunds, of course, but they won t cover chargebacks and refunds.
What I didn t like back then were the blogging and SEO capabilities. They eventually introduced more blogging tools but it still didn t feel like you got plenty of autonomy for outlines.

I've been running my OF for almost a year now, It's been good, since I'm getting traffic from followers on porn-hub. This morning when I logged into my account, support has deleted most of my content, lot's of videos, I don't understand why, So I went back to read the guidelines and rules and I don't see any rule I've broken. I personally think OF doesn't like sex workers... But thank God there are other platforms like Fap-house, and My.club, I am considering directing my followers to one of them, I won't accept be treated like shit where as I'm the one bringing in business, you will never get subscribers on Only fans unless you promote yourself, they doing nothing for us, just taking a share of our earnings and treating sex workers like we nothing... Sex work is the reason for their success today. Another thing that don't make sense to me, in their rules they say we not allowed to share personal information, meaning contact details with the fans, that is stupid and not making sense at all. I am the one who brought those fans to their platform, now suddenly I'm restricted from sharing contact details. We don't just give phone number to followers for free, I will ask follower to give tip through the platform in exchange for my contact details for eg. 1 month chatting. etc. Only fans hasn't done anything for me, I didn't get a single subscriber from their promotions, do they even promote, I doubt it...Xvideos warned creators not to put their eggs in one basket and they don't allow us to promote Only fans, they do allow promoting ManyVids though, You will work your ass out on Only Fans, invest your time there and bring followers to them and one day they will kick you out like trash.
